Natebytheway delivers his new EP ‘Witless Q&A’s via the Filippo MSM helmed Kulture Galerie this February, comprising five original cuts.

Natebytheway is a rising Berlin based producer and DJ dropping dynamic dancefloor bumpers as self-releases via his own bandcamp while just over the horizon is a return to Kulture Galerie following his contribution to the labels NFTS 999 compilation and a single on Gene On Earth’s nug-net imprint.

Opening the EP is ‘varoom’, a twisting and turning jaunt through an amalgamation of twitchy acid squelches, resonant licks, crisp drums and low-pitched vocals. ‘pleaseordermefries’ follows, embracing a more classic deep house aesthetic with shimmering chords, ethereal pad textures, hypnotic vocal chants and heavily swung drums before ‘kennywho’ wanders down the unique path of hip house with warped strings, pulsating subs, hip hop vocal lines and snappy percussion throughout.

‘cloudaddict’ then diverges back into dreamy realms with pillowy soft, cloudy atmospherics and breathy voices floating atop modulating rhythms and snaking bass notes. ‘didyouwant’ finally rounds out the package, flipping the switch entirely to bright vintage keys, a bumpy bass groove, robotic synth licks and saturated disco drums.
